CrayonCraft allows users to upload photos and convert them into coloring pages and printable coloring books. By default, all image processing happens entirely in your browser — your photos never leave your device. An optional premium tier processes images using server-side AI services.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. Account authentication is provided through Clerk, a third-party service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of all photos you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the rights to the photos or have obtained all necessary permissions to use them.
• Your content does not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• You have obtained consent from any identifiable individuals in the photos, where required by applicable law.

5. Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload or use the Service to process content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors in any way.
• Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these restrictions. We are required by law to report apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Content submitted for server-side premium processing may be scanned for prohibited material, and we will cooperate with law enforcement as required by applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

Coloring pages and books generated by the Service from your photos are your property. You are free to use, print, share, and sell the coloring pages you create. The CrayonCraft name, logo, and the Service itself (including its code, design, and underlying technology) remain the intellectual property of [CrayonCraft / Your Company Name].

6a. Branding and Content Disclaimer

CrayonCraft branding, logos, and watermarks appearing on generated coloring pages and PDFs indicate the tool used to create the content. They do not constitute endorsement, approval, or review of the content by CrayonCraft. All content is created by users using CrayonCraft tools, and CrayonCraft does not review, moderate, or approve content processed on users' devices.

Users are solely responsible for all content they process, generate, distribute, or sell using the Service, regardless of whether CrayonCraft branding appears on the output. You agree to indemnify CrayonCraft against any claims arising from content you create or distribute, including content bearing CrayonCraft branding.

7. Privacy-First Processing

By default, all image processing occurs client-side in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to our servers during standard processing. Data is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB storage and is not synced to any external server. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.

8. Server-Side Premium Processing

If you use the optional premium processing features, your images will be sent to third-party AI services for processing. By using premium features, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer. We select reputable service providers, but we are not responsible for their data handling practices beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Print Ordering

CrayonCraft offers the ability to order printed coloring books through third-party print-on-demand services (such as Amazon KDP and Lulu). These orders are fulfilled entirely by those third parties, and their respective terms of service, shipping policies, and return policies apply. We are not responsible for print quality, shipping, or fulfillment issues arising from third-party services.

10. Payments

Payments for premium features or print orders are processed through Lemon Squeezy and/or the applicable print-on-demand service. By making a purchase, you agree to the payment processor's terms of service. All prices are displayed before purchase, and refund policies are governed by the applicable payment processor or fulfillment partner.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, [CrayonCraft / Your Company Name] shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Since your data is stored locally in your browser, termination of your account does not delete your locally stored data.
